More about Laura: Laura is an AKC Breeder of Merit, AKC Judge and a retired zone representative for the Professional Handler Association. Laura is a second-generation breeder of German Wirehaired Pointers, under the Scotia Kennel banner.
In her professional handling career, spanning 25 years, Laura consistently maintained a high-quality, low-number client list. She has finished hundreds of dogs, with group-winners from each of the seven variety groups. Specializing in rare breeds and challenging dogs, she has piloted dogs to Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show, Group wins, #1 rankings and more.

While this video may not be new (age is really given away with the believed to be information given at 59:25 which now thought to be as much as 80% environmentally caused now), nevertheless the video is still full of relevant and useful information and a great educational tool to learn about the structure of the dog and how structure translates to movement. 

Video presentation by the legendary breeder and world authority on canine movement Rachel Page Elliott from her classic volume Dogsteps. Dogsteps has been the definitive manual on canine movement for four decades. Dog show judges and breeders around the world have relied upon this straightforward text and its “cineradiographic” illustrations to gain a more complete understanding of canine gait.
